Baking Chocolate Cake with Nutella Frosting using a Pressure Cooker

Baking cake with a pressure cooker is quite fun. Just the shorter waiting period and no worries of unevenly cooked cake is taking all the stress out of baking.

For the mean time, I used my phone to take this video since it's a bit difficult to make space in my house for a nice video setting. Cue the avalanche of things everywhere.

I tested the app "wevideo" to amateur edit this. Here's the making of the cake video:

Ingredients:

Cake
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt
1 cup water
½ cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
1-2 tsp vanilla extract

Frosting
250 g butter [softened/room temperature]
1 cup confectioners sugar
2 tbsp milk
1-2 tsp vanilla
1/2 - 1 cup Nutella [who cares? just go crazy with this]
Rice krispies [optional]

What to do

Cake
Mix together all dry ingredients. One by one put in the rest of the ingredients and mix! Once preferred texture is achieved, put in pressure cooker and press "Cake". While waiting, smile and look pretty.

Frosting
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl using mixer until desired texture is achieved.

Final Steps
Wait for cake to cool down [room temp]
Cut cake in half and spread frosting in the middle.
Place top part of the cake back and spread frosting through the entire cake.
Add rice krispies for texture [or make it look like a giant ferrero cake-- which I might be making soon *wink wink*]
Place cake in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.

Happy eating!
