A Place to Date Your Artistic Partner

I know a lot of people that just want to dine in a quiet place with a nice view. And although the city has restaurants on top of buildings with a beautiful night view of lights upon lights, some of us appreciate the quiet indoors, the art of silence and solemnity stuck to a wall, painted or drawn by a person completely enamored by the idea of expressing emotions without words. This place is exactly it.

A while back, I wanted to relax and just dive into art after a long day. Mark and I decided to eat out where there's almost nobody around and just appreciate that silence. We went to Artists Gallery or Artists Haven Cafe in BF Parañaque. Online, they appear to register on these two names.

The outside itself stands out from the shops and restaurants surrounding it.

Psychological Stress and its Effects on your Body

Psychological stress occurs when an individual perceives that environmental demands tax or exceed his or her adaptive capacity.1 Operationally, studies of psychological stress focus either on the occurrence of environmental events that are consensually judged as taxing one's ability to cope or on individual responses to events that are indicative of this overload, such as perceived stress and event-elicited negative affect.

Of Wine and Paintings - Sip & Gogh

A while back, Mark and I decided to celebrate our anniversary doing something new. If there was ever a great combo, it would be painting and wine. We chose to go to Sip & Gogh for the experience.

Trapped Forever! BREAKOUT of ATC's New Mystery Rooms!

I've always wanted to go and try mystery rooms since they started a few years back but was never able to go due to having no actual matching schedules with nice humans. Long story short, I was able to go with a bunch of folks from the office, the only other people trapped in the vortex of same time-offs.

Why We No Longer Trust LAZADA

Lazada, before their recent update this year, used to be a reliable online shopping place to say the least. Transactions were easy with almost no extra charge except for shipping fees if the items were from other countries. Lazada help centers were actually helpful and item returns or cancellations, although lengthy were legitimate.

Here are the reasons why you should no longer trust the "new" Lazada:

Cheesecake for daaays: Your Customized Cheesecake

It all started with my mom talking about a cheesecake that her friend was raving about. A few years back, my friends and I were trying to find the best cheesecake made and I ultimately ended up choosing Cake2Go for their delicious Devil's Food Cheesecake. My second choice was Don Limone's which has since closed down like all underrated restaurants in the south. New branches built are far from home now.

A few months ago, this got my interest since it was supposedly customizable cheesecake dipped in ice cream, but all we had to go with was this blurry photo from my mom's friend because she couldn't remember the name of the place.

Stay Aware: How to Treat Hot Spots on Dog and Why This Happens

WARNING: Sensitive images ahead.

I recently had to bring my dog to the vet for what seemed to be a skin condition. I took my dog grooming on Saturday and all was well with the groomer being able to handle him without even having to put a muzzle on him, which was rare since my dog's pretty defensive when being groomed. He had a nice cut and looked like a baby seal.

From this:

To this:

Two days later, I noticed two little spots (about a half inch) on his body which seemed to be just irritated skin. I gave him a bath thinking his skin must have gotten irritated somewhere. It didn't look bad, just a little pink.

Village Square Alabang Opening: May 18, 2018

On the corner of Alabang Zapote Road and Concha Cruz Dr, Village Square Alabang has now opened its doors to the public.

I watched this structure get built for a while and wondered what this place could be. After months of trying to figure it out, here it is. It's a little place to go to buy necessities or just plainly hangout. The structure looks simple but interesting.

From the left you'd know where you are!

From the right, you'd think it's a fancy SM.

The attire.

For first timers like myself, I needed to get the right things to use for our hike. Luckily, Mark had brought me to Decathlon. They literally have everything for every sport at just the right amount. I got everything here except for my shoes since I figured I needed a new one that would last for a while.

Wensha Spa Pasay: MetroDeal Review

I'd seen the promo in Metrodeal for quite some time but hadn't bought the tickets since I was weighing which promo among the ones I had spotted was worth it. It seemed like a nice place and it would be nice to relax. Mark decided to buy the package deal and we opted to go this January.
